CrediaBank is seeking a Business Intelligence Analyst to join the MI Reporting Unit. In this role, you will collect, process, and analyze data while developing and maintaining data structures that support business reporting and decision-making. Leveraging Business Intelligence tools, you will deliver accurate, reliable, and timely insights to relevant business units.
The ideal candidate has experience in data analysis, preferably within the financial sector, and demonstrates strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and the ability to translate complex data into meaningful business insights.
Responsibilities
Collect, process, and consolidate data using Business Intelligence tools to ensure accurate, consistent, and reliable information.
Design and implement mechanisms that ensure the secure and efficient flow of information across relevant business units.
Develop, configure, and maintain robust data structures to support business and regulatory reporting requirements.
Understand regulatory reporting requirements and contribute to the automation of reporting processes.
Organize and maintain the unit’s information database and related documentation, ensuring data accessibility and integrity.
Provide technical support for the design, implementation, and maintenance of reporting tools and data visualization solutions.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, or another related field.
Master’s degree in a relevant discipline will be considered an asset.
Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in data analysis or a related role.
Proficiency in data and statistical analysis techniques.
Very good knowledge of SQL and/or other statistical query languages.
Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or SAS.
Experience with Power BI and/or other Business Intelligence tools will be considered a strong advantage.
Excellent command of English, both written and spoken.
Strong computer literacy with advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
Strong analytical thinking and exceptional attention to detail.
Critical thinking and effective problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
Ability to adapt and perform effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Continuous learning mindset and willingness to stay up to date with emerging technologies and best practices.
