What you'll do

- Maintain accurate financial records and ensure proper documentation filing and archiving
- Assist in data entry and updating accounting systems and spreadsheets
- Collaborate with hotel departments to gather financial information and documentation
- Provide administrative support to the Finance team

About the job
As an Accounting Intern, you will gain hands-on experience in the finance operations of a luxury hospitality environment. Working closely with the Finance team, you will support daily accounting activities, financial reporting processes, and administrative tasks while developing valuable professional skills within a world-renowned hotel brand.
Responsibilities
:
Assist with daily accounting and bookkeeping activities.
Support the preparation and maintenance of financial records and documentation.
Assist with invoice processing, filing, and reconciliations.
Help monitor accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
Support month-end closing procedures and financial reporting processes.
Maintain accurate financial records and ensure proper documentation is filed and archived.
Assist in data entry and updating accounting systems and spreadsheets.
Collaborate with different hotel departments to gather financial information and supporting documentation.
Provide administrative support to the Finance team as required.
Requirements
Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
Strong interest in accounting and financial operations within the hospitality industry.
Good analytical and numerical skills with strong attention to detail.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
Organized, proactive, and eager to learn in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to work collaboratively within a team.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; Greek language skills are a plus.
