senior network engineer

Our client, one of the leading Groups of companies in Greece, Bulgaria, Cyprus, and Romania in providing quality consumer goods, is currently looking to recruit a Senior Network Engineer.

The Position:

• Reporting to the IT Systems Administration Manager, you will be responsible and accountable for:
• Planning, Design and Optimization, the Group’s Internal and External Network infrastructure to ensure the undisrupted operation of the Group’s Applications and Services and the best Customer Service.
• Working closely with the IT teams to enhance and secure network performance.
• Monitoring network performance and implementing improvements to enhance efficiency and reliability.
• Ensuring network security by implementing and maintaining security policies and measures.
• Staying updated with the latest network technologies and industry trends.

Qualification:

• Bachelor’s Degree (Degree in Information Technology or related field)
• Extensive experience 5+ years in network engineering and management position.
• Experience with network monitoring and performance analysis tools.
• Familiarity with cybersecurity principles and best practices.
• Familiarity with Cisco, Fortinet, etc.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong Customer Focus
• Create and maintain comprehensive network documentation, including diagrams and configurations.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior network engineers and technical staff.
• Good command of the English language
• Co-ordinate and/or manage network/voice related projects and deliveries to internal clients
• Act as a subject matter expert for network technologies and solutions.
• Collaborate with security teams to conduct audits and ensure compliance with industry standards.
