They are currently looking for a Senior General IT Applications Developer, specialized in Low Code and/or BPM Systems to join their team.

Main Responsibilities:

• Monitors the correct and effective operation of Lending Originations Workflows, both those developed in-house and those provided by external partners, and ensures the resolution of any issues. The APPIAN system is the main platform and focus of this role.
• Collaborates with the Business Analysis Department on project requirement analysis tasks.
• Designs, develops, and supports IT applications/systems related to Loan origination, particularly Business Process Management Systems (BPMS) & Low code (APPIAN).
• Participates in significant IT projects aimed at the Bank’s digital transformation.
• Involves in the design and implementation of new functionalities in the IT Applications under their responsibility and ensures their effective integration with the Bank’s existing IT applications for smooth interoperability and modernization.
• Designs the architecture and leads the implementation of IT systems.
• Develops and maintains technical documentation for the systems under their responsibility (architecture, topology, APIs, etc.).
• Implements Code Review procedures to ensure adherence to coding standards, security standards, and best software development practices.
• Stays updated on new technologies and trends, recommending their adoption.
• Participates in supporting production systems and processes.
• Collaborates with various Bank units, as well as external partners, suppliers, and internal and external audit bodies.

Requirements

Education: Degree in Higher Education or equivalent qualification in Information Technology, or another Science/Technology discipline, or Business Economics with a specialization in IT.

Postgraduate Studies: Postgraduate studies in IT and/or Business Administration are desirable.

Previous Work Experience:

• 7+ years of experience as a Developer in the IT field.
• Experience in the Banking sector is desirable.
• Experience in developing functionality for BPMS positions is desirable.
• Good knowledge of the English language (relevant certification or degree from a foreign university required)
• Excellent knowledge of popular programming languages (Java, C#, JScript, etc.).
• Strong knowledge of database design, object-oriented programming, and web development.
• Good understanding of information systems design principles, including Microservices, Restful APIs, Cloud native applications, and SOA Architecture.
• Experience in developing Workflow Systems or Business Process Management Systems (BPMS) and Rules Management Systems. Examples include APPIAN BPM, Camunda, jBPM, Bonitasoft, Pegasystems, IBM Business Automation, IBM ODM, etc.
• Proficiency in using MS Office.

Desired

• Knowledge of the APPIAN BPM platform (ideally 3-5 years of experience).
• Experience in agile development methodologies and DevOps practices.
• Implementation of workflow systems in the Banking sector, particularly in the Loan and Credit Cards Origination lifecycle.
