senior backend developer

We are looking for a Senior Backend Developer to join our team and contribute to the design, development, and maintenance of scalable and high-performing backend systems. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in backend technologies, API development, databases, and modern software architecture principles, while collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable digital products.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain backend applications and REST APIs using Java and Spring Boot

• Collaborate with frontend developers, QA engineers, and product teams to deliver new features

• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code

• Work with relational databases and optimize queries when needed

• Participate in system design discussions and contribute to technical improvements

• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve technical issues

• Support testing and deployment processes

• Participate in Agile ceremonies and code reviews

Requirements

• Proven experience in Backend Development

• Strong knowledge of Java and Spring Boot

• Experience with REST APIs

• Familiarity with SQL databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or SQL Server

• Understanding of software development best practices

• Experience with Git

• Good problem-solving and communication skills

• Ability to work in a collaborative Agile environment

Nice to Have

• Experience with microservices architecture

• Familiarity with Docker or Kubernetes

• Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure

• Experience with messaging tools such as Kafka or RabbitMQ

• Knowledge of CI/CD practices
