Our client is looking for a skilled Linux System Engineer to join their Agile teams working on innovative container-based solutions. You’ll play a key role in developing and delivering their in-house Cloud Native Container Platform, or supporting customer-facing container environments via their Container Competence Team.

Your Responsibilities

• Support the delivery of their container platform or services using:

o  Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Terraform, Ansible
o  GitOps tools: Ansible, ArgoCD

• Manage Linux systems across our client’s Data Center and Microsoft Azure environments.

• Contribute to the deployment, configuration, and operation of cloud-native tools like Prometheus, Grafana, Kafka, and others.

• Automate system operations using Python and Ansible.

• Develop and manage Kubernetes Operators in Python (based on your experience).

• Participate in Scrum ceremonies and work closely with product teams in an Agile environment.

• Join standby/on-call rotation one week per month.

Your Profile

• Solid hands-on experience with Linux system administration (RHEL, CentOS, Ubuntu or similar).

• Strong knowledge of Kubernetes or OpenShift platforms.

• Experience with automation tools (Ansible, Python).

• Familiar with IaC and GitOps principles and tooling (Terraform, ArgoCD).

• Willingness to learn and adopt new technologies quickly.

• Team player with good communication skills and a proactive mindset.

Nice to Have

• Experience writing or managing Kubernetes Operators in Python.

• Exposure to monitoring, logging, and messaging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, Kafka).

• Understanding of cloud infrastructure, particularly Microsoft Azure.

• Familiarity with Agile and DevOps practices.
