About the job
Our FinTech project is a dynamic banking organization active in seven countries, with total assets of €60.0 billion and 13,512 employees. With a total network of 700 branches in Greece and abroad, it offers a comprehensive range of financial products and services to its retail and corporate customers. It holds a strategic position in retail and business banking in Bulgaria and Serbia, as well as offering distinguished Wealth Management services in Cyprus, Luxembourg and London and is also present in Romania. Until now, they have build the biggest Omnichannel in the area of technology in the GR market regarding the FinTech area. They have already implement more than 10 Scrum Teams and now they expand their portfolio of services.
We are currently looking for a Junior Mobile Engineer to join their team.
Key Responsibilities
Contribute to the development of native mobile applications (iOS or Android) with guidance from senior engineers.
Work on small to medium-sized features, bug fixes, and UI improvements.
Collaborate with the team on implementing user stories and performing basic testing activities.
Participate in code reviews and follow best practices for clean, maintainable code.
Implement core mobile development principles such as UI components, API integration, and debugging.
Support continuous improvement efforts by learning team processes, tools, and workflows.
Requirements
Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (or equivalent hands-on experience through projects).
1–2 years of experience developing native mobile applications in Android (Kotlin/Android SDK) or iOS (Swift/UIKit/SwiftUI).
Good understanding of tools such as Android Studio or Xcode, Git, and debugging tools.
Basic experience with RESTful APIs, mobile application architecture patterns (e.g., MVVM), and testing frameworks.
Strong willingness to learn, ability to follow guidance, and solid teamwork and communication skills.
Nice to Have
Exposure to Agile/Scrum environments.
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines or automated testing will be considered a plus.
