This role is ideal for a backend engineer passionate about Java, cloud integration, and data workflows, with motivation to grow further in Azure Data Factory and cloud-native architectures.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain backend integrations using Java & Spring
Build and optimize data pipelines using Azure Data Factory
Integrate APIs, external systems, and data sources into ADF workflows
Collaborate with cloud architects and data engineers on ETL/ELT solutions
Ensure integration solutions are secure, scalable, and well-documented
Participate in CI/CD pipelines, Agile ceremonies & code reviews
Required Skills & Qualifications
3+ years of experience in Java / Spring Cloud backend development
Strong knowledge of REST APIs, JSON & integration patterns
Familiarity with Azure Data Factory (or strong willingness to learn)
Proficient in SQL and relational database concepts
Experience working with Git and CI/CD platforms
(Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, etc.)
Solid understanding of cloud security principles
Nice-to-Have Skills (not mandatory — a plus)
Experience with Azure services: Azure Storage, Azure SQL, Key Vault, Azure Functions
Exposure to data engineering tools (Databricks, Synapse, Power BI)
Experience with messaging systems (Kafka, RabbitMQ, Service Bus)
Azure certifications (DP-203, AZ-900, AZ-104)
Agile/Scrum project experience (Jira, Confluence)
