java engineer

We are currently hiring a Java Software Engineer to join a flagship project – the development of a Customer Portal for a major Insurance Company, focused on delivering a seamless digital experience to customers.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 3+ years of professional Java development experience, preferably with Spring Boot.
• Deep understanding of Spring ecosystem: Spring MVC, Spring Data JPA, Spring Security.
• Experience with Microsoft SQL Server and relational database design.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools: Jenkins, Nexus, Docker, SonarQube.
• Version control experience with GitLab and understanding of branching strategies.
• Knowledge of secure coding practices and awareness of OWASP guidelines.
• Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Exposure to front-end technologies like React, Angular, or Vue is a plus.
• Familiarity with containerization concepts (Docker).
