Position Purpose
The IT&Τ Asset Management Coordinator possess a critical role in the management of the lifecycle for all IT hardware and software assets of the company. As an IT&T Asset Management Coordinator you will be responsible for managing, organizing, updating, curating, reconciling and editing the IT&T asset inventory, as well as to coordinate the shipment, distribution and collection of IT&T assets.
Main Duties
Manage the complete lifecycle of the assets, from introduction to disposal whether in the productive or non-productive state according to guidelines and procedures
Maintain a comprehensive inventory of all IT&T assets, including hardware, software licenses, and peripherals
Ensure proper deployment and installation of hardware assets to relevant departments, adhering to configuration standards and policies
Keep accurate records of asset specifications, configurations, warranties, and serial numbers using IT asset management (ITAM) software
Handle assets requests
Reconcile physical assets against the inventory list
Manage the secure disposal of obsolete assets in compliance with environmental regulations and data security standards
Perform market research for IT&T hardware assets
Collaborate with IT&T vendors for maintenance, and warranty-related issues
Physically install and uninstall IT&T hardware assets at our client’s Headquarters
Receive and coordinate the shipment of IT&T assets
Coordinate the issuance of consignment notes
Pack into boxes IT&T assets for shipment
Unpack IT&T assets from boxes and neat the equipment to the point of storage
Transfer IT&T assets from the point of storage to the point of staging and from the point of staging to the point of storage
Continuously review and improve asset management processes and procedures to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Special Duties
Contribute to the development of asset lifecycle management strategies and plans in coordination with IT&T management
Continuously evaluate and enhance asset management processes for improved efficiency and effectiveness
Generate regular reports on asset inventory, usage, compliance, and cost optimization for management
Qualification and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology/Computer Science, or related field
Minimum 3 years of experience in IT asset management
Strong understanding of IT hardware and software components
Strong understanding of asset lifecycle management principles and best practices
Fluent in written and spoken Greek (either native speaker either certified C2 level)
Fluent in written and spoken English (either native speaker either certified B2 level or above)
Experience with IT asset management (ITAM) software
Knowledge of and experience in hardware and software installation, maintenance and troubleshooting
ITIL (Information Technology Infrastructure Library) certification is an advantage
CMDB (Configuration Management Database) knowledge is an advantage
Logistics certification is an advantage

General
The holder of the position with this job description has to follow and abide with all internal guidelines and procedures, the Labour Charter and management systems as well as with the national and international acts and laws connected with the position.
This job description is based on the organizational structure of the company. In case of structural changes, the Supervisor of the position and HRT department have to proceed asap to the necessary updates and amendments. In addition, the qualifications and skills/competencies of the position have to be adjusted to the new duties.
This job description reflects the essential duties and responsibilities of the position. The Management keeps the right to assign additional tasks of similar essence to this position at any time.
The HRT department is responsible to control the implementation, execution and regular verification of the job description.
