We are currently looking for an IT Project Manager to join our team.
Responsibilities
- Work closely with business partners across all levels of the organization to understand their operations, system challenges, and opportunities, and recommend solutions that enable the organization to achieve its strategic priorities and goals.
- Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables, and compile a detailed project plan, including tasks, timelines, and resource allocation.
- Monitor project progress and expenses to ensure they align with the budget. Manage projects and ensure that changes are properly assessed with respect to their impact on project timelines and budget, documented, and approved.
- Schedule monthly, weekly, or daily meetings with the project team to monitor progress by tracking each individual task and due date.
- Identify potential risks and issues that could impact project success, and develop risk mitigation strategies and contingency plans while closely monitoring and managing risks throughout the project lifecycle.
- Ensure that projects and their deliverables adhere to relevant compliance and security standards, internal policies, and procedures.
- Communicate project objectives, status, and updates to stakeholders, including executives, team members, and partners. Facilitate regular project meetings to ensure alignment and progress tracking, resolve conflicts, and address issues as they arise.
- Close out projects and evaluate results during post-project review. Establish and record lessons learned.
Requirements
- Thorough understanding of project management methodologies
- Proven experience of at least 2 years in project management of IT projects, preferably in Financial Services (Banking and/or Insurance), Energy, Telecommunications, or relevant sectors
- Experience with project management tools
- Experience with Software Development Life Cycle phases and techniques
- Agile/SCRUM Software Development Process experience is a plus
- Experience in programming or systems analysis is a plus
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills in English
