Our FinTech project is a dynamic banking organization active in seven countries, with total assets of €60.0 billion and 13,512 employees. With a total network of 700 branches in Greece and abroad, it offers a comprehensive range of financial products and services to its retail and corporate customers. It holds a strategic position in retail and business banking in Bulgaria and Serbia, as well as offering distinguished Wealth Management services in Cyprus, Luxembourg and London and is also present in Romania. Until now, we had build the biggest Omnichannel in the area of technology in the GR market regarding the FinTech area. We have already implemented more than 10 Scrum Teams and now we expand our portfolio of services.
As an IT Payments Engineer, you will be responsible for the effective configuration, maintenance, and support of the payment systems and related projects, which play a pivotal role in our organization’s transactional banking strategy.
Key responsibilities:
Payment Systems Parametrization & Support: Ensure the effective configuration and maintenance of our organization’s critical payment platforms, leading upgrades, patches, and system integration efforts.
Vendor Cooperation: Collaborate with payment systems vendors to ensure ongoing support, projects execution and standards compliance.
Day-to-Day Support & Problem Management: Troubleshoot, resolve/assign problems, and document application-related issues to maintain service SLA.
Projects Support: Closely collaborate with IT & business units to assist in the design, implementation, integration, and testing of requirements affecting our payment systems.
Qualifications:
Technical Skills: Basic knowledge of Linux, SQL
System Integration Expertise: Experience working with system interfaces and integration within complex IT ecosystems.
Strong Communication and Collaboration Skills: Ability to work effectively with internal teams and external vendors.
Strong business-oriented and functional mentality.
Fluency in Greek and English language.
Desirable Skills:
Knowledge of International Payment Ecosystems: Familiarity with SWIFT, SEPA, and TIPS payment systems and formats is an advantage.
Developer Skills: Not required, but advantageous for the position.
