Key Responsibilities

Specialized Knowledge:

• Expertise in Java, Angular, and related frameworks.
• Strong proficiency in database design, object-oriented programming, and web development.
• In-depth understanding of modern design principles including Microservices, Restful APIs, Cloud-native applications, and SOA Architecture.
• Experience in optimizing digital platforms for performance, scalability, and enhanced user experience.
• Proven ability to create and execute technology roadmaps aligned with business goals.

Governance, Mentoring, and Budgeting:

• Establish and maintain governance frameworks to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
• Proficiency in Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methodologies, including Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall.
• Mentor and coach technical teams to promote best practices in digital development and emerging technologies.
• Foster a culture of collaboration, continuous improvement, and innovation.
• Strong budgeting and resource management skills, ensuring cost-effective project delivery.
• Experience in leading and coordinating a department of 20+ members, divided into three teams: Output, Core Systems, and Digital.
• Directly report to the CIO with accountability for team leaders across the digital development function.
