About the job

The Head of Operations is responsible for guiding the operational direction of the company, supporting the CEO’s decisions, and ensuring effective performance across all departments. The role involves developing and implementing policies, overseeing resource allocation and budgets, driving process optimization, and ensuring compliance with legal and industry standards. This is a leadership position that requires strategic thinking, operational excellence, and strong people management skills to support Code.Hub’s rapid growth and evolving business needs.

Objectives:

The primary objective of the Head of Operations is to ensure smooth, efficient, and scalable business operations. This includes aligning operational processes with company strategy, optimizing service quality, improving efficiency through innovation and automation, and building a resilient, high-performing operations team.

Scope of Work:

  1. Strategic Leadership & Guidance

    • Advise and support the CEO in decision-making related to operations and resource management.

    • Oversee and guide Officers and other staff, ensuring accountability and performance excellence.

  2. Operational Policy & Process Management

    • Develop, implement, and update operational policies, procedures, and best practices.

    • Identify and execute initiatives for process automation, cost optimization, and service improvement.

  3. Resource & Budget Oversight

    • Manage operational budgets, monitor expenditures, and allocate resources effectively.

    • Oversee workload distribution to maximize efficiency and meet business goals.

  4. Compliance & Risk Management

    • Ensure adherence to company policies, legal requirements, and industry regulations.

    • Lead incident and problem management processes, ensuring minimal business disruption.

  5. Cross-Departmental Coordination

    • Collaborate with all the assisted departments for the execution and excellence, and with Project Management to align operations with business objectives.

    • Drive synergy between departments for cohesive and efficient service delivery.

  6. Team Development & Culture

    • Lead, mentor, and develop the operations team, fostering skills enhancement and operational readiness.

    • Promote a culture of continuous improvement and accountability.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or related field (Master’s degree preferred).

  • Experience: Minimum of 8+ years of progressive experience in operations leadership, ideally within a high-growth or scaling business environment.

  • Strategic & Operational Leadership: Proven track record in developing policies, managing budgets, and optimizing business processes.

  • Analytical & Financial Expertise: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, complex formulas, macros, and data modeling. Strong capabilities in budget creation, forecasting, and variance analysis to guide strategic decision-making.
    Expertise in financial projections translating operational data into forward-looking insights to anticipate business needs. Skilled in building and maintaining interactive dashboards (Excel, Power BI, or similar tools) to track KPIs and operational performance in real time.

  • Process & Technology: Demonstrated success in process automation, cost optimization initiatives, and leveraging technology to improve productivity.

  • Collaboration & Communication: Strong leadership, communication, and decision-making skills, with a history of fostering cross-functional collaboration across departments.

  • Organizational Excellence: Exceptional organizational and problem-solving abilities; able to prioritize, delegate, and execute in a fast-paced environment.

  • Personal Attributes: High level of integrity, resilience, adaptability, and commitment to continuous improvement.
