As the Head of Artificial Intelligence Unit, you will lead a team of talented developers and data scientists in the development and implementation of advanced AI and ML algorithms. Reporting directly to the Group Chief Technology Officer (CTO), you will play a pivotal role in driving the strategic direction of our client’s AI initiatives while ensuring alignment with company objectives.

What You Will Need to Do: 

• Lead and inspire a team of developers and data scientists to deliver innovative AI solutions that meet business needs.

• Develop and implement advanced AI and machine learning algorithms, with a focus on natural language processing (NLP), neural networks, deep learning, and optimization techniques.

• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and deploy machine learning models that address complex business challenges.

• Provide clear direction, guidance, and mentorship to team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional development.

• Utilize strong managerial skills to effectively allocate resources, prioritize projects, and drive results in a fast-paced environment.

• Foster a collaborative and inclusive team culture that values diversity, creativity, and open communication.

• Establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including executives, business leaders, and external partners, to drive AI innovation and adoption across the organization.

• Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory requirements and industry best practices in AI development and deployment.

What You Will Bring:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Physics, or Computer Science.

• Master’s degree in Mathematics, Engineering Mathematics, Machine Learning, Optimization, or related computational sciences.

• Strong programming skills in Python and C++.

• Solid understanding of linear algebra, calculus, and probability theory.

• Familiarity with information theory, dynamical systems, and complexity analysis.

• Experience with Spacy, HuggingFace models, TensorFlow, Keras, PyTorch, and OpenAI API is a plus.

• Proven track record of developing and deploying machine learning models.

• Excellent leadership and managerial skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team towards achieving strategic objectives.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
