frontend/mobile developer (react native)

Role Overview

They are looking for a skilled Frontend/Mobile Developer to enhance their mobile app and collaborate on backend tasks where needed. If you’re passionate about creating scalable mobile experiences, optimizing performance, and diving into backend development, this role is for you.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the React Native mobile app with a focus on performance and usability.
• Collaborate with product, design, and backend teams to deliver a seamless user experience.
• Integrate APIs for payments (Stripe), authentication (Clerk), and notifications (Twilio).
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize app performance.
• Contribute to backend tasks, such as API design or integrations, ideally with Ruby on Rails.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in React Native development.
• Proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, and RESTful API integration.
• Knowledge of payment systems like Stripe and authentication tools like Clerk.
• Familiarity with the app lifecycle, from development to app store deployment.  Experience with version control systems (Git).
• Bonus: Exposure to backend technologies, especially Ruby on Rails or similar frameworks.

Nice to Have

• Understanding of AWS services (S3) and performance optimization.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines for mobile apps.
• Hands-on experience with backend collaboration or API development.
