Our Insurance project is one of the largest and most digitally progressive insurance providers in Greece, part of an international group with presence across Europe. The company is currently undergoing a major transformation in its data ecosystem, evolving its enterprise data warehouse environment and investing in next-generation platforms for analytics, automation, and service personalization.
What We’re Looking For
We’re seeking candidates with a strong foundation in data engineering, who have worked with either:
Legacy environments: SQL Server, OLAP cubes (KLO), DBA600
OR
Modern environments: Master Data Services (MDS), data modeling, and migration projects.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain and optimize the existing Data Warehouse infrastructure (SQL Server, OLAP cubes, DBA600).
Participate in the migration towards MDS and contribute to redesigning data models and flows.
Build and manage ETL pipelines and data processes.
Collaborate with data analysts and business stakeholders to ensure clean, reliable, and well-modeled data.
Requirements
University degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
2+ years of professional experience as a Data Engineer or similar.
Strong SQL and Microsoft SQL Server knowledge.
Hands-on experience with either:
DBA600, OLAP cubes, legacy data systems
OR
MDS (Master Data Services), data migration, modern DWH architecture.
Nice to Have
Experience with data modeling and data quality practices.
Knowledge of scripting (e.g., Python or PowerShell).
Familiarity with reporting tools (e.g., Power BI, SSRS).
