Role Overview

We are seeking a Business Analyst to join the internal Data & AI team of a growing European technology company, directly hired into their Athens delivery hub. The position focuses on internal data initiatives — including data governance, documentation, process analysis, and platform coordination — within a collaborative, cross-functional team.

This is not a consulting or client-facing role. Instead, you will work alongside internal teams across Europe to support structured data-related initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to gather, clarify, and document requirements

• Translate business needs into clear functional specifications and structured documentation

• Support internal delivery of data governance frameworks, platform capabilities, and process improvements

• Maintain project tracking, documentation, and workflows using tools such as Jira, Confluence, Excel

• Work closely with data engineers, architects, analysts, and product managers

• Contribute to ongoing improvements in delivery methodology and team coordination

Candidate Profile

• Experience as a Business Analyst, Functional Analyst, or in a similar analytical role

• Ability to work across business and technical teams in a structured environment

• Exposure to data-related projects (e.g. platform delivery, governance, migration) is preferred

• Familiarity with Agile workflows and delivery processes

• Proficient with documentation and collaboration tools (e.g. Jira, Confluence, diagramming tools)

• Fluency in English is required (international team setup)
