The Solutions Architect is accountable for architecting and designing comprehensive solutions that meet business requirements in support of a given portfolio. The Solution Architect will be accountable for partnering with key roles (e.g. product managers, product analysts, etc.) to create solutions that are aligned to the architecture standards and principles, leverage common solutions and services and meet the financial targets (cost and benefits). Within the solution development lifecycle this role will be accountable for solution evaluation and selection, buy vs. build decisions and early-phase project estimates which contribute to the business case. He will provide consulting during the detailed design, build, test and deploy phases driving alignment with and adoption of architecture guiding principles, reference architectures and standards.


YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Work with the Platform Architect in Finance Market to Cash to identify business opportunities and work with key roles (product managers, product analysts) to develop initial business cases for potential solution development efforts.

• Perform highest level solution alternative analysis to support strategic decision making for a given portfolio.

• Oversee and support Functional & Technical Requirements gathering.

• Develop high level solution designs and conceptual architectures that address business, application, information and technology architectural domains.

• Provide consulting and conduct reviews through the development cycle.

• Provide requirements to Enterprise Architects that drive strategic direction for Application, Information, Security and Technology architectures.

• Identify and communicate components and services required for solutions within Order to Delivery portfolio, specifically Route Settlement and Billing.

• Partner with Enterprise Architects and peer Solution Architects to identify and defined Enterprise services and components required to support business solution development.

• Partner with Configuration Leads and Experts for delivery of new solutions, enhancements of existing solutions and support on preventing issues and optimizing the current applications.


ARE THESE YOUR SECRET INGREDIENTS?

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

• Expertise in designing end-to-end solutions in Route Settlement and Billing area to support correct execution of Commercial Policy and Revenue recognition in Finance.

• Experience with Sales and Distribution (SAP SD). Specific knowledge of the so-called Last Mile Distribution functionality of SAP Direct Distribution (current Sap DSD & RS) is a major advantage, as well as the knowledge of the legacy DSD (direct store delivery) functionality in SAP ERP

• Finance Acumen (Financial Accounting e.g. for Sales Revenue, understanding of principle of Revenue Recognition) and understanding of general Order to Cash Business Cycle

• Proficiency in data integration techniques and experience designing data pipelines to secure integration data flow to the remaining modules of SAP.

• Experience working with Azure data environments and competency in SQL for data extraction and manipulation.

• Understanding of data governance principles and experience working with governance frameworks.

• Familiarity with Agile methodologies, with Safe Agile certification strongly preferred.

• Strong ability to articulate technical solutions to stakeholders

• Working effectively with cross-functional teams.

• Leading solution development efforts

• Flexibility to adapt solutions to changing requirements

• Creative approach to designing innovative solutions
