About the job
As a Site Reliability Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the reliability, scalability, automations and performance of our production systems. You will work closely with our development and operations teams to build and maintain products, improve system reliability, and develop automated solutions to address operational challenges. Your role will involve optimizing platform efficiency, driving faster troubleshooting, and minimizing downtime to deliver superior business outcomes and customer experiences.
YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Proactive Improvements: Proactively analyze incident patterns to provide diagnostic insights, helping to identify problems and driving their resolution in collaboration with product team
• Complex Problem Troubleshooting: Lead troubleshooting efforts for complex issues in collaboration with support partners, ensuring that problems are resolved permanently (post incident reviews). This includes participation in major crisis whenever such appear (not limited to regular working hours)
• Operational Excellence: Collaborate with product teams and influence prioritization and quick implementation of user stories aimed at operational improvements
• Automation: Identify and implement automation initiatives to enhance efficiency across technology and support layers, streamlining operations end-to-end.
• Observability: Use observability toolbox such as Dynatrace, ServiceNow, Azure Monitor to drive product improvements in performance, availability, incident trends, and MTTR
• Collaboration: Collaborate with architects, DevOps, and L3 engineers to find solutions that improve product stability and reduce incidents with proactive, long-term approach
• Capacity Planning and Scaling: Plan future capacity needs and ensure that systems can handle increased loads
• SRE Community Engagement: Engaged in SRE Community of Practice (driven by SRE Mgr.) to discuss challenges and dependencies, exchange best practices, review KPIs and performance metrics to drive continuous improvement.
ARE THESE YOUR SECRET INGREDIENTS?
• University bachelor’s or master’s degree
• Proven experience in Application development and support and/ or DevOps
• 3+ years of professional experience in complex IT landscape and full stack technologies – with focus on mobile and web applications in eCommerce space
• Hands-on expertise with software development in Java, Angular, etc.
• Experience with SAP Commerce cloud is an advantage
• Strong expertise in automation, monitoring, and performance tuning
• Experience in Agile delivery methodology and multi-level support environment
• Strong collaboration and communication skills, with ability to work effectively across teams
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure
• Fluency in English (written and verbal)
