About the job

The Senior Demand Planner owns demand forecast quality end-to-end for assigned markets or categories. The role proactively challenges commercial assumptions, drives forecast performance improvement, and ensures demand plans are realistic, stable, and aligned with supply and financial constraints. The Senior Demand Planner plays a central influencing role in S&OP / IBP decision-making


WHAT YOU WILL DO:

· Own baseline and adjusted demand forecasts across horizons and hierarchies

· Tune forecasting models, manage overrides, and document assumptions and rationale

· Lead forecast accuracy, bias, and error‑driver analysis and improvement actions

· Challenge commercial inputs using data, scenarios, and historical evidence

· Align demand assumptions with Supply Chain and Finance to ensure feasibility and value realism

· Lead demand review inputs and support consensus in S&OP / IBP forums

· Identify demand risks early and drive scenario and mitigation planning

· Coach junior planners and promote best practices and forecast hygiene

ARE THESE YOUR SECRET INGREDIENTS?

· Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field

· 5+ years experience in demand planning or related supply chain roles

· Advanced forecasting and analytical skills

· Strong stakeholder influencing capabilities

· Strong analytical and scenario‑based thinking

· Confidence to challenge assumptions constructively

· Ownership mindset for forecast outcomes

· Credible and fact‑based influencing style

· High discipline in governance and documentation

· Coaching and role‑model behavior
