About the job
If you are an experienced Business Analyst operating in a bank or Fintech environment, we have an exciting opportunity for an analyst role in the Finance & Payments area.
You will be primarily responsible for engaging in system related implementations and process re-design initiatives, introducing and driving new innovative finance and payment initiatives.
You will associate with high-impact cross-functional project teams and be the liaison between Business, Technology, User Experience in various phases of the project life cycle so as assist transformation of complex requirements into meaningful business solutions.
In this exciting role, you will:
- Be leading the Business Requirements phase of the project, engaging with internal stakeholders and vendors, analyzing, and documenting new functionalities, by creating user stories.
- Develop and maintain BA artifacts, ensuring effective stakeholders management throughout the project lifecycle.
- Be collaborating with design and development teams, to provide a solution that is aligned with business requirements.
- Participate in the preparation of the testing phase and help in the co-ordination of the testing team for the execution of the testing scenarios.
- Be establishing a strong link with Fintech companies and major Treasury vendors, to identify new value-adding solutions.
- Propose new innovative solutions, with a particular focus on the payments area.
- Be consistently reviewing business processes, aiming to remove the non-value adding activities, through automations or with new innovative solutions.
- Be contributing to the creation of viable Business cases for new implementations, by supporting the project management team, capturing the associated cost and benefit drivers.
- Be a point of contact with the IT team for system-related requests or incidents.
- Collaborate with Internal Control to act as an organizer between IC and Treasury Business Teams for the respective reviews.
You can be successful in this role, if:
- You have a degree in Mathematics, Finance / Business economics / IT
- You have a minimum of 5 years' experience working as a Business or IT analyst in a Bank, Fintech, or corporate environment.
- You have a detailed real-world understanding of payment systems, and you are familiar with new payment innovations.
- You can understand core business processes and be able to map them with associated technical solutions.
- You can elicit requirements across multiple business areas, by analyzing workflows, data & functional requirements.
- You have an innovative and digital mindset.
- You have strong analytical, communication & collaboration skills.
- You can co-ordinate and lead cross-functional project members effectively.
- Your knowledge of Swift payment network/SAP S4HANA will be considered an asset.
- Advanced Computer Software skills, and practical exposure on MS Power Automate, Power BI may also be considered an asset.
