As a Senior Back-end Developer (SAP Commerce Cloud) in the e-Commerce & digital services area, you will play a role in designing and implementing high-quality according to SAP Commerce and Mirakl best practices for complex cross-system requirements. You will collaborate closely with Platform Architects, Tech Leads, and DevOps teams to enhance performance, drive automation, and support continuous integration and deployment frameworks.
YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Design and implement high-quality solutions according to SAP Commerce & Mirakl best practices for complex cross-system requirements
• Work very closely with Platform Architect and Tech Lead on performance improvements opportunities and new functionalities architecture
Participate in troubleshooting, technical analyses and code review process within the team
• Collaborate with B2B DevOps Team especially with Product Manager, Tech Lead and Platform Manager on analyzing business requirements and splitting them in Backlog Items, providing sequence and effort/Story Points estimation
• Contribute to automation of all manual tasks for the building and deployment of both code and data in order to enable continuous integration and continuous deployment frameworks
• Take responsibility on code quality and on-time completion of tasks
• Support the success and development of others in the team
ARE THESE YOUR SECRET INGREDIENTS?
• University Degree in a relevant area
• 5+ years of IT Experience in the development of customer systems across multiple technology domains.
• Strong skill base in front and backend open web development technologies including:
o Designing, building and testing Java applications
o Experience with SAP Commerce Cloud (SAP Hybris)
o Experience in Spring framework, JSP, JSTL and other J2EE related technologies
o (Optional) Experience in Integrations with Mirakl marketplaces
• Strong concepts & knowledge of object-oriented programming, data structures, algorithms and design patterns are a must.
o Abap development knowledge and experience will be considered as an advantage
• Strong quality-based ethic including testing and deployment practices.
• Ability to analyze and critically assess problems.
• Ability to see the big picture as well as giving attention to the smallest detail.
• FMCG Commercial business process awareness will be considered as an advantage
• Proven ability to work in a multi-cultural environment
• Strong communication and influencing skills
• English fluency verbal and written communication is a MUST.
