What you'll do
- Advance the application security strategy through cross-functional initiatives and cultural influence
- Lead security initiatives across the SDLC and improve development practices through scalable automation
- Conduct and guide security requirements and threat modeling during early design phases
- Align business goals with security needs across product, platform, development, and cyber defense teams
- Lead security architecture, design, and code reviews
- Perform security testing, identify risks, and drive remediation with development teams
- Strengthen software supply chain security across the CI/CD pipeline
- Provide pragmatic, technically grounded recommendations that balance business and security risks
- Create reusable security assets from lessons learned to improve the overall security posture
- Mentor engineers and practitioners in secure-by-default thinking and shared accountability
- Coordinate teams to deliver measurable security and business impact
Key requirements
- 5+ years' experience
- Application security, information security, and software development
- Security architecture, design, and code reviews; threat modeling
- Application security testing with Burp Suite and OWASP ZAP
- CI/CD security integration, including SAST, DAST, SCA, secrets scanning, and container image scanning
- Cloud and cloud-native security with Azure, Kubernetes, and containers
- OWASP Top 10, SAMM/DSOMM, ASVS/MASVS; network and web protocols
- Programming languages; Agile and DevOps
- Computer Science / Information Securitypreferred
