About the job
We are seeking an experienced Application Security Product Manager to lead a team of security engineers responsible for ensuring the security of our platforms and Agile Release Trains (ARTs). This role requires a strong technical background in cybersecurity, leadership skills, and the ability to collaborate across multiple teams, including Cybersecurity, Product, and Infrastructure.
The Application Security Product Manager will oversee the development and enforcement of security standards per application, manage risk, drive the mitigation efforts with the infrastructure and application engineers, and ensure compliance with security policies while guiding security engineers in implementing robust security measures.
YOUR NEW KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Lead and mentor a team of security engineers working on platform and ART security requirements.
• Define the Security Standards and security requirements with the GRC team and enforce them with technical controls across assigned platforms and ARTs.
• Oversee the implementation of security requirements, ensuring technical accuracy.
• Oversee the implementation of new solutions and provide the architecture with security in mind.
• Lead the security engineers to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to security implementations.
• Ensure new and existing infrastructure deployments comply with hardening frameworks.
• Drive compliance issue resolution by providing guidance and collaborating with the GRC team.
• Track and manage security risks, driving remediation efforts or the implementation of compensating controls.
• Facilitate communication between engineers, stakeholders, and other teams to ensure security measures align with project goals.
• Prioritize and manage the remediation of vulnerabilities in collaboration with Product Managers, Cyber Defense, Infrastructure, and Development teams.
• Provide strategic input and support to the Cyber Defense team in case of security incidents.
ARE THESE YOUR SECRET INGREDIENTS?
• 7+ years of experience in cybersecurity principles, risk management, and secure system design, with at least 3+ years in a leadership or management role.
• At least one certification like CISSP, CISM, CEH, or Security Products related certification.
• Hands-on experience implementing security requirements for cloud and infrastructure platforms.
• Proven track record of driving security compliance and risk mitigation initiatives.
• Experience with security frameworks and standards (e.g., CIS, ISO 27001, OWASP).
• Familiarity with DevSecOps principles, security automation, and CI/CD pipeline security will be considered a plus.
• Proficiency in security tools such as FortiGate Firewalls, FortiGate IDS/IPS, Zscaler VPN solutions, Azure Conditional Access policies, Privileged access management tools, CNAPP solutions like Aqua.
• Proven experience leading and managing security engineering teams.
• Strong project management and prioritization skills.
• Experience working in Agile environments, particularly with ARTs and SAFe frameworks, is a plus.
• Fluent in English (written & verbal), with the ability to influence decision-making.
