What you'll do
- Collaborate with product managers and architects to gather requirements and define technical specifications
- Manage and contribute to SAP MDG projects through all phases including discovery, design, and implementation
- Convert business requirements into documented technical requirements for solution building
- Configure and customize SAP MDG for master data management needs
- Develop and maintain documentation for data models, data flows, and technical specs
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues across multiple teams using research and OSS notes if necessary
- Stay updated with data governance tools and recommend best practices
- Lead and guide developers and data engineers on master data governance principles and standards
- Collaborate with DevOps to implement continuous integration and delivery pipelines for MDG solutions
Key requirements
- 5+ years' experience
- SAP MDG configuration and customization including workflow, governance models, BRF+, and mass maintenance
- Knowledge of SAP S/4 master data objects and integration with SAP and non-SAP systems
- ABAP development and workflow configuration skills
- Experience with data migration, consolidation, and data quality validation
- Working knowledge of SOA services, BADI, and system integrations
- Skills in integration testing, cutover activities, and technical documentation
- Familiarity with Agile methodology and DevOps practices
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Computer Science / Engineeringpreferred
