About the job

As a Business Continuity Leader, you will be the driving force behind the Business Continuity Management (BCM) framework, ensuring the organization's resilience to disruptions while maintaining seamless continuity of critical operations. This role extends beyond traditional Incident and Problem Management by providing a more strategic, proactive, and enterprise-wide approach to risk mitigation, crisis resolution, and long-term continuity planning. Partnering with the Business Continuity Product Manager, you will lead the organization's ability to anticipate, respond to, and recover from major disruptions. You will manage high-impact crises, ensure cross-vendor alignment, and oversee business-critical change governance, guaranteeing IT ecosystem stability without compromising performance, availability, or user experience.

The Business Continuity Framework encompasses, but is not limited to:

• Incident Management & Crisis Response (IMCR) – Establish a structured response strategy that not only mitigates crises but also enhances long-term resilience, surpassing the reactive scope of Incident Management.

• Enterprise Contingency Planning – Develop and oversee comprehensive contingency strategies across central and country levels to ensure operational resilience.

• Change Enablement Governance – oversee the planning and execution of critical IT ecosystem changes to maintain operational stability.

• Business Impact Analysis (BIA) – In collaboration with Risk Management, assess enterprise-wide risks, define restoration priorities, and drive holistic resilience strategies beyond isolated incidents.

• Disaster Recovery – Establish and maintain robust continuity plans for critical IT infrastructure, business applications, and products, ensuring sustained operations.

YOUR NEW KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Lead crisis response and resolution efforts for major IT disruptions, engaging cross-functional teams, senior stakeholders, and vendors with an enterprise-wide impact – 24/7 availability for critical incidents.

• Lead post-crisis analysis and continuous improvement efforts, going beyond problem resolution to drive long-term preventive strategies, providing senior leadership with insightful reporting.

• Ensure robust contingency planning, maintaining up-to-date, centralized, and accessible business continuity procedures.

• Orchestrate cross-functional alignment to ensure the seamless execution of critical IT ecosystem changes while prioritizing operational stability.

• Oversee IT maintenance scheduling and exception handling, ensuring transparent communication with impacted stakeholders.

• Drive compliance and governance by ensuring adherence to the BCM framework, industry best practices, and regulatory requirements.

• Champion knowledge sharing and training programs, fostering a culture of business continuity preparedness across the organization.

• Drive business continuity simulations and initiatives, backlog prioritization, and enhance efficiency

• Ensure audit readiness by maintaining the BCM framework and associated processes in line with compliance standards.

ARE THESE YOUR SECRET INGREDIENTS?

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field; certifications from Business Continuity Institute or similar are highly preferred.

• 5+ years of experience in IT services and cross-domain expertise in cloud, OS, servers, database, storage, network and highly integrated enterprise solutions.

• Proven leadership in business continuity, critical incident management, and resilience planning.

• Project management expertise, with the ability to execute multiple high-impact initiatives simultaneously.

• Strong stakeholder engagement skills, with experience managing vendor relationships and cross-functional teams.

• Excellent communication, presentation, and leadership capabilities, with a problem-solving mindset and a customer-centric approach.

• Fluent in English (written & verbal), with the ability to influence decision-making.
