We're seeking an experienced Product Owner [IT-Commercial Telecommunications domain] to join one of our agile teams. In this role, you'll be responsible for driving the strategy and development of a commercial domain telecom products portfolio, ensuring we deliver innovative solutions that meet the evolving needs of our external partners and enterprise customers. You will work closely with an agile delivery team being the “voice of the customer”, ensuring the needs of the end-user are incorporated into the value stream from design to deployment.

Duties & responsibilities

• Partner with the commercial product management team and stakeholders to translate product strategy and problem-solving into a detailed, prioritized backlog of user stories
• Own the product roadmap for our commercial telecommunications offerings, including voice, data, and infrastructure services
• Manage the execution of the value stream product features and delivery roadmap
• Collaborate with external and enterprise clients to understand market demands and identify new opportunities
• Define and prioritize product features based on business value, market research, and stakeholder input
• Work closely with technology stakeholders (e.g., Systems Architects, Network, etc) to deliver solutions using agile methodologies
• Manage the product backlog, write detailed user stories, and ensure clear acceptance criteria
• Collaborate with Scrum Master to ensure the work managed by the teams achieves the highest value relative to the needs priority of the business
• Drive the execution of user acceptance testing (UAT) activities with support from business and technology team members
• Seek and improve processes across the entire product and delivery team
• Monitor product performance metrics and drive continuous improvement initiatives
• Develop business cases and ROI analyses for new product initiatives

Required Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Telecommunications, or related field
• 3+ years of product management experience in telecommunications
• Strong understanding of telecommunications technologies, protocols, and industry standards
• Experience with telecommunications core business such as voice, data, and network services
• Proven track record of successful product launches in the telecom sector
• Strong knowledge of agile methodologies and experience working with JIRA or similar tools
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Outstanding communication and presentation abilities
• Experience with international telecommunications regulations and compliance

Preferred Skills

• Certifications in Product Management or Agile methodologies (CSPO, PMI-ACP)
• Experience with API products and telecommunications platforms
• Software development / domain expertise in at least one of the following areas: J2EE, KAFKA administration, Oracle/Mongo Databases, Java (e.g. SpingBoot), Jenkins, Jira, SIEBEL CRM
• Knowledge of SDN/NFV technologies
• International work experience in telecommunications
