What you'll do
- Perform on board repairs and maintenance on Two Stroke Marine Engines and their sub-systems
- Troubleshoot and investigate root causes of hydraulic, electronic, and mechanical failures of Two Stroke Engines
- Discuss engineering products or projects with customers and engineers
- Ensure works comply with maker’s recommendations and safety regulations
- Work on complex diesel engine repair and maintenance projects with a multilingual team
- Ensure compliance with specifications, codes, and customer requirements
- Coordinate maintenance activities and provide remote and on-site technical support
- Prepare spare parts list proposals tailored to each project
- Compose comprehensive service reports including conclusions and recommendations

About the job
Key Responsibilities:
On board repairs/maintenance tasks on Two Stroke Marine Engines (ME-B/C, MC, MC-C) and their sub-systems.
Troubleshooting and root cause investigation on basic Hydraulic/electronic/mechanical failures of Two stroke Engines.
Conferring with customers, engineers, and others to discuss existing or potential engineering products or projects.
Ensuring that works and operations comply with maker’s recommendations and safety regulations.
Working on complex diesel engine repair and maintenance projects in cooperation with a multilingual and multicultural team.
Ensuring compliance with specifications, codes, and customer requirements by coordinating maintenance activities, reporting, and providing both remote and on-site technical support.
Preparation of spare parts list proposals tailored to each project.
Composition of comprehensive Service Reports about the project, with conclusion and recommendations.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s or equivalent degree in marine/mechanical/nautical engineering from an accredited school.
Experience in using or a desire to learn ME-B/C Engine control system.
Hands on experience on internal combustion engines repairs.
Ability to solve basic mechanical/hydraulic/electronic issues.
Strong analytical skills.
Ability to communicate well with other members of the development team.
Excellent manual dexterity.
A desire to continually upgrade technical knowledge.
