About the job

Key Responsibilities:

  • On board repairs/maintenance tasks on Two Stroke Marine Engines (ME-B/C, MC, MC-C) and their sub-systems.

  • Troubleshooting and root cause investigation on basic Hydraulic/electronic/mechanical failures of Two stroke Engines.

  • Conferring with customers, engineers, and others to discuss existing or potential engineering products or projects.

  • Ensuring that works and operations comply with maker’s recommendations and safety regulations.

  • Working on complex diesel engine repair and maintenance projects in cooperation with a multilingual and multicultural team.

  • Ensuring compliance with specifications, codes, and customer requirements by coordinating maintenance activities, reporting, and providing both remote and on-site technical support.

  •  Preparation of spare parts list proposals tailored to each project.

  • Composition of comprehensive Service Reports about the project, with conclusion and recommendations.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or equivalent degree in marine/mechanical/nautical engineering from an accredited school.

  • Experience in using or a desire to learn ME-B/C Engine control system.

  • Hands on experience on internal combustion engines repairs.

  • Ability to solve basic mechanical/hydraulic/electronic issues.

  • Strong analytical skills.

  • Ability to communicate well with other members of the development team.

  • Excellent manual dexterity.

  • A desire to continually upgrade technical knowledge.

  • Flexibility & Adaptability
