About the job
Responsibilities:
- Be an outstanding teammate and assist the development of workflows, and integrations with web services.
- Understanding and interacting with the various departments that manage the various integrated systems.
- Maintenance and enhancement of the existing Java EE legacy application
- Delving into the existing code to understand it and to implement various enhancements taking into consideration the limited documentation.
- Documenting processes, support methodologies, implementations, structures and any other relevant to integrated services item.
- Review and recommend improvements to existing system designs and engineering processes.
Qualifications
Qualifications & Experience:
- At least 5 years of relevant experience as a .Net Software Engineer
- Proficiency in hands-on coding with C# is required.
- Knowledge of cloud technologies. A certification will be a plus.
- Knowledge of project lifecycles, understanding project lifecycle methodologies such as Agile, Waterfall and CI/CD
- Experience in working with DevOps teams and Jenkins pipelines.
- Familiarity with common software engineering tools and practices (Git, Maven, etc)
- Previous experience in message queues (e.g. Kafka) will be considered a plus.
- Strong communications skills with the ability to cooperate with both executives and technical staff in Greek and English.
- Familiarity with Integration patterns with Backend systems.
