What you'll do
- Design and develop distributed backend services using .NET and event-driven architecture
- Collaborate with product and commercial teams to create scalable and maintainable solutions
- Optimize microservice ecosystem for performance, reliability, and observability
- Drive containerization and cloud migration initiatives
- Participate in architecture discussions and influence technical decisions
- Lead architectural decisions and identify improvement areas (for senior engineers)
- Write maintainable, well-tested code and conduct code reviews
- Participate in incident resolution and on-call rotation
- Maintain clear technical documentation like ADRs, runbooks, and guidelines
- Build and share domain expertise within the team
Key requirements
- C# and modern .NET frameworks
- SQL Server, PostgreSQL, Redis, and Couchbase databases
- AWS cloud services, Kubernetes, and Docker containerization
- Testing frameworks such as xUnit, NUnit, mocking frameworks, and performance testing tools like k6
- Messaging systems including Apache Kafka and RabbitMQ
- Familiarity with microservices, event-driven architecture, and distributed systems
- Computer Sciencepreferred
