engineering tech lead – player management

What you'll do
- Drive technical excellence in products focusing on stability, performance, and code quality
- Identify and champion technical improvements for roadmap consideration
- Introduce standards and best practices in the technical area
- Work closely with architects to align and implement architectural direction and standards
- Develop and maintain strong understanding of business and products
- Lead technical design decisions ensuring alignment with area architects
- Take active hands-on role with technical initiatives and issues
- Support new product development by producing POCs and documenting technical designs
- Research new technologies and assess their potential applications
- Review major changes to ensure they meet standards
- Serve as key technical contact collaborating across product, architecture and engineering teams
- Participate in technical interviews and provide feedback on candidates
- Coach and mentor engineers to develop technical skills
- Participate in team ceremonies like planning and refinement to stay updated
- Lead technical training to share knowledge and improve team expertise
Key requirements
- Experience with distributed microservices design and implementation using Docker and Kubernetes
- Strong knowledge of RESTful APIs and real-time messaging patterns such as Kafka and RabbitMQ
- Proficient with both SQL and NoSQL databases including PostgreSQL, SQL Server, Couchbase
- Experience with observability practices and tools like Grafana and OpenTelemetry
- Expertise in .NET technology stack
- Technical coaching, mentoring, and leadership skills
- Skills in troubleshooting and technical investigations
- Ability to develop POCs and handle technical design and architecture alignment
- Experience with AWS cloud services
- Excellent communication skills
