Barilla Hellas is seeking to recruit an Accounting Analyst within the Finance Department. The individual will be based in Athens, Greece and will report to the Finance & Administration Manager Greece.

The successful candidate will Play a key role in delivering accurate and reliable financial operations, contributing to strong business performance while growing your expertise across core finance activities in a collaborative and dynamic environment.

 

 Key Accountabilities:

 

  • Manage daily accounting activities (entry sheets, PO, invoices, reconciliations) ensuring accuracy and compliance with company and local regulations

  • Execute and monitor payments, resolving discrepancies in collaboration with suppliers and internal teams

  • Coordinate with shared services center for GL accounting entries and payments processes

  • Support monthly closing and tax processes (VAT, Intrastat, withholding taxes, fixed assets, reporting )

  • Cash flow monitoring and maintain strong relationships with banks, suppliers, and external partners

  • Support Credit Control activities, including monitoring receivables, facilitating collections, and contributing to the overall working capital management

  • Collaborate with auditors, tax advisors, and shared service teams to ensure smooth operations

  • Identify opportunities to improve processes and drive efficiency within Finance

 

Qualifications:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Business

  • 2-3 minimum years experience in Accounting or Finance role

  • IT literate, SAP knowledge

  • Fluent in English

  • Results’ Driven & Team Player

  • Strong attention to detail with a high level of accuracy

  • Analytical mindset with solid numerical skills and understanding of financial principles

  • Effective communication and collaboration skills

  • Proactive, results-oriented team player
