About the job

As a Product Manager you will be part of the Greece Marketing team, reporting to the Marketing Manager. You will play a pivotal role in driving the long-term strategy and annual marketing plans for for the assigned categories in Greece and exporting countries (Cyprus,Malta). Leveraging the full marketing mix, you will focus on ensuring profitable growth, strengthening consumer preference for the BIC brand, and uncovering new business opportunities. 

 

Key Responsibilities: 

 

Strategic Planning: 

  • Develop and execute long-term strategies and annual marketing plans aligned with the EU framework and local market vision. 
  • Define marketing communication objectives and implement integrated marketing and promotional plans, including ATL and BTL activations.

Product & Portfolio Management: 

  • Manage the product portfolio by optimizing the product mix and pricing strategies tailored to channel and consumer needs. 
  • Analyze market trends, identify opportunities and threats, and transform insights into actionable strategies. 

Market Growth: 

  • Identify and unlock new opportunities to maximize category potential. 
  • Develop a deep understanding of the route to market and create effective channel strategies. 

Financial Oversight: 

  • Set, monitor, and report on the brand support budget to ensure financial efficiency. 
  • Drive profitability through ROI-focused initiatives and Revenue Growth Management (RGM) principles. 

Cross-functional Collaboration: 

  • Partner with Sales, Category Management, E-commerce, Demand Planning, and HQ teams to implement the category strategy seamlessly. 
  • Align with HQ Marketing & Communications teams to validate plans and ensure consistency with the EU strategy. 
  • Train and support the Sales Team, sharing product expertise and knowledge. 

Category Development: 

  • Analyze and synthesize market data and field insights to deploy effective category growth strategies. 
  • Conduct store visits alongside Sales and Category Management teams to assess category needs and identify solutions.  

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or Economics. 
  • Minimum of 2 - 4 years of experience in Marketing or Trade Marketing, ideally in FMCG. 
  • Fluent Greek and English (spoken and written). 
  • Strong proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and BI tools

  • Exceptional interpersonal, communication, presentation and negotiation abilities. 
  • Strategic thinker with a strong analytical mindset. 
  • Innovative and creative approach, with a willingness to challenge the status quo. 
  • Highly motivated, hands-on, and enthusiastic, with a "go the extra mile" mindset. 
  • Strong organizational and time management skills. 
  • Collaborative team player with effective cross-departmental coordination abilities. 
  • Comfortable navigating ambiguity and thriving in a fast-paced environment 
  • Exposure to sales, trade marketing, or category management is a plus.
