What you'll do
- Assist clients in organizing weddings or specific events to create unique experiences
- Communicate continuously with clients throughout the event planning process
- Contact and negotiate with suppliers to arrange necessary materials and decorations
- Arrange timely delivery of materials and decorations for events
- Collaborate efficiently with hotel staff and line managers to coordinate staffing
- Give directions to hotel staff to fulfill event requirements
- Implement new concepts and ideas tailored to each event
- Manage event costs efficiently within the provided budget
- Provide friendly, efficient, and courteous service at all times
- Ensure the highest standards of guest care are maintained
- Supervise events discreetly and in detail before and during weddings or other events
Key requirements
- 2+ years' experience
- English language and knowledge of a second foreign language
- Event organization and client communication skills
- Supplier negotiation and budget management abilities
- Hotel staff coordination and guest care expertise
- Time management, organizational skills, and multitasking abilities
- Professionalism, critical thinking, and self-motivation
- Experience with Protel software
- Hospitality / Business Administration / Relevant fieldpreferred

A Weddings & Events Specialist is responsible for assisting clients to organize a full wedding or a particular event, aiming at the creation of an unforgettable and unique experience. Communicate continuously with clients, contact and negotiate with suppliers to assist with setup; arrange the delivery of materials and decorations on time, and collaborate efficiently with her colleagues (hotel staff).
Applicant’s main accountabilities:
Know the prerequisites of each event and implement new concepts and ideas
Handle relevant costs with efficiency according to the provided budget
Search for the appropriate vendors and negotiate with them
Work closely with the hotels’ line managers to arrange the staffing and the creation of the event
Cooperate and give directions to the hotels’ staff to meet the needs of each event
Ensure the highest standards of guest care is maintained
Provide a friendly, efficient and courteous service at all times
Ensure the success of an event by providing a detailed and discreet supervision before and during the wedding or the event.
Applicant’s main qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Hospitality, Business Administration or relevant field
Excellent command of English language. Knowledge of a second foreign language (preferably French, German, Russian, Italian or Hebrew) would be considered as extra asset
Minimum 2 years of relevant experience
Knowledge of hotel management software (Protel) is an advantage
