What you'll do
- Collect and compile data from property management systems, reservations platforms, and financial reports
- Develop and maintain regular performance reports on occupancy rates, average daily rate, and revenue per available room
- Monitor and analyze market trends, competitive landscape, and pricing strategies of other hotels
- Assist in creating budgets and financial forecasts
- Provide insights into revenue and cost projections for financial planning
- Ensure data privacy and security protocols are followed in data handling and reporting
Key requirements
- 2+ years' experience
- Proficiency in data analytics and visualization tools including Excel, Tableau, and Power BI
- Knowledge of hotel management systems and databases
- Skills in revenue optimization and operational efficiency analysis
- Experience with budgeting and financial forecasting
- Ability to conduct market trend analysis
- Understanding of data privacy and security
- Economics / Statistics / Mathematics / Data Science
