What you'll do

Key requirements
- 2+ years' experience
- Proficiency in data analytics and visualization tools such as Excel, Tableau, and Power BI
- Knowledge of hotel management systems and databases
- Skills in financial forecasting, budgeting, and report generation
- Experience in market trend analysis and revenue optimization
- Understanding of data privacy and security
- Economics / Statistics / Mathematics / Data Science / Relevant fieldpreferred

A Data Analyst (Business Intelligence) is responsible for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data to provide actionable insights that support data-driven decision-making. This role will focus on various aspects of the hotel’s operations, including revenue optimization, and operational efficiency.
Applicant’s main accountabilities:
Collect and compile data from various sources (property management systems, reservations Platforms, financial reports) to create meaningful reports.
Develop and maintain regular performance reports on key metrics (occupancy rates, average daily rate, and revenue per available room).
Monitor and analyze market trends, competitive landscape and pricing strategies of other hotels in Rhodes.
Assist in the creation of budgets and financial forecasts.
Provide insights into revenue and cost projections for the hotel’s financial planning.
Ensure data privacy and security protocols are followed in data handing and reporting.
Applicant’s main qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, Data science or relevant field.
Master’s degree or equivalent in Data science, Economics or relevant field would be considered as extra asset.
Proficiency in data analytics and visualization tools (e.g., Excel, Tableau, Power BI).
Knowledge of hotel management systems and databases.
Minimum 2 years’ related experience in similar role.
Fluency in English; knowledge of other languages is a plus (preferably German).
