About the job
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Digital Editor to join FTHIS editorial team on at least 6-month maternity cover contract. This role is ideal for someone passionate about digital media, online storytelling, and content strategy. The Digital Editor will support daily publishing operations, assist in content editing, and help optimize articles for maximum reach and engagement.
The position is part of a dynamic editorial operation that runs daily from 7:00 a.m. to 12:00 a.m., ensuring consistent content coverage and responsiveness to audience trends.

Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Communications, Media or a related field
Experience in digital journalism
Strong editing and proofreading skills
Strong understanding of SEO principles and digital publishing tools
Experience with CMS platforms (e.g., WordPress)
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and trend
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Experience in lifestyle, news, entertainment, or digital media industry will be considered as plus
