Angelicoussis Group, one of the world’s leading ship management organizations, is looking for an experienced and motivated professional to cover a permanent position as an Insurance Officer.
Key Responsibilities
Manages insurance databases and spreadsheets for marine and non-marine covers, ensuring accuracy and completeness;
Completes application forms and distributes insurance documents internally;
Inputs insurance contracts into relevant software systems;
Maintains insurance-related statistics and conducts market research;
Processes financial transactions and payments within the SAP system;
Handles calls to War Risks AP areas and manages additional premiums;
Maintains claims database, submits reimbursement requests, and monitors collections;
Provides internal support on insurance queries;
Prepares insurance-related spreadsheets and presentations, and maintains department intranet section;
Conducts sanctions checks to ensure compliance and maintain records of findings;
Candidate must have
Bachelor’s degree in Maritime Studies or Business Administration
Minimum of 3 years of experience in marine insurance underwriting, claims handling, brokerage or with an insurance team of a shipmanagement company
Strong knowledge of marine insurance products, terminology and industry practices
Fluency with numbers and good command of MS Office (especially MS Excel)
Very good command of the English language
Team spirit, excellent communication skills
