We are seeking a talented and passionate Pastry Sous Chef who embodies Aman’s commitment to creativity and excellence to join Amanzoe, in the Peloponnese, Greece. Reporting to the Pastry Chef, the Pastry Sous Chef plays an important role in preparing refined and consistently high-quality pastry items for all dining areas. This hands-on position requires strong artistic flair, precision and a genuine passion for flavours, colours and textures, contributing to memorable culinary experiences that reflect Aman’s exceptional standards.
Responsibilities
Support the daily pastry preparation and production according to Aman quality standards.
Prepare pastries, desserts and baked goods with creativity, accuracy and attention to detail.
Ensure consistency in taste, texture and presentation across all pastry items.
Maintain cleanliness, organisation and readiness of the pastry section.
Uphold food safety, hygiene and storage guidelines at all times.
Collaborate closely with culinary and service teams to ensure seamless dining experiences.
Assist in recipe execution and seasonal menu offerings.
Monitor ingredient quality and ensure proper storage of all pastry components.
Contribute to training and guidance of junior pastry colleagues.
Requirements
A professional diploma in Food Production with pastry specialisation from a recognised institution in Greece or abroad.
1–2 years of experience in a similar position within a luxury hotel or high-end restaurant.
Fluency in English is desirable.
Strong creativity, work ethic and attention to detail.
Strong communication, organisational and time management skills.
A collaborative, detail-oriented and service-driven mindset aligned with Aman values.
You must have the legal right to work in Greece.
