assistant executive housekeeper villas - amanzoe

We are currently looking for a hands-on, detail-driven Assistant Executive Housekeeper Villas to join our Housekeeping team at Amanzoe in Porto Heli, Greece. Reporting to the Executive Housekeeper, this role is critical in supporting the daily operations of the housekeeping department and ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and service across the resort. You will lead, motivate and guide the team while implementing quality control procedures and ensuring all guest accommodations and public areas meet Aman’s uncompromising expectations.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and guide daily housekeeping operations across rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces.

• Ensure all rooms are cleaned and prepared to Aman standards before guest arrival.

• Assist the Executive Housekeeper in establishing departmental plans, procedures, and service standards.

• Lead the team in the absence of the Executive Housekeeper.

• Coordinate daily work schedules based on occupancy and operational needs.

• Manage inventories of linen, uniforms, supplies, and chemicals; maintain proper storage and usage.

• Oversee inspections to ensure guest and public areas meet health, hygiene, and aesthetic standards.

• Respond promptly to guest requests and address complaints or concerns regarding housekeeping.

• Liaise with the Laundry team and Housekeeping Supervisors to align tasks and scheduling.

• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene across all areas in line with health and safety regulations.

• Participate in the training, evaluation, and performance development of Housekeeping team members.

• Support the preparation of duty rosters and help control departmental labor costs.

• Recommend repair or renovation needs to maintain the highest quality of guest facilities.

• Foster team morale and uphold a culture of accountability, integrity, and guest-first service.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience in a housekeeping supervisory role, preferably in a 5-star hospitality environment.

• High school diploma or equivalent; a certificate in housekeeping or hospitality management is considered an asset.

• Excellent command of English (written and spoken); Greek is an advantage.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with housekeeping management systems.

• Strong leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills.

• Deep understanding of housekeeping standards, tools, and chemicals.

• Ability to maintain professionalism and composure in a fast-paced setting.

• Detail-oriented, with a strong commitment to cleanliness, guest satisfaction, and team collaboration.

• Legal right to live and work in Greece.
