What you'll do
- Lead warranty activities for the rolling stock fleet during the contractual warranty period
- Ensure compliance with warranty obligations, contractual commitments, and performance requirements
- Manage warranty claims, technical investigations, and resolution processes
- Monitor warranty costs and reduce recurring failures and related expenditure
- Drive reliability growth with customers and internal teams to meet contractual targets
- Coordinate supplier warranty recoveries and close claims on time
- Conduct root cause analyses for significant technical incidents and recurring defects
- Collaborate with engineering teams on design modifications and product improvements
- Prepare and present performance reports to senior management and customer representatives
- Support handover from project delivery teams into operational service
Key requirements
- 7+ years' experience
- Warranty management, contractual compliance, and supplier warranty recoveries
- Reliability growth, root cause analysis, and technical investigations
- Cross-functional team leadership and project execution
- Performance reporting and continuous improvement
- Quality standards, EHS standards, and quality assurance processes
- Railway systems and railway safety requirements
- Mechanical Engineering / Electrical Engineering / Railway Engineering / Related Technical Disciplinepreferred
