What you'll do
- Follow and execute industrial work instructions and task sequences
- Maintain and overhaul rolling stock using preventive and corrective work instructions
- Apply Quality Systems and complete team maintenance activities to specification
- Apply Special Processes where internally qualified
- Perform secondary-level fault finding and read schematic diagrams when required
- Use MMIS/SES to record operational progress and issue status
- Complete Work Checklists and Work Orders with accurate operational details
- Suggest productivity improvements with team leaders and the Industrial Team
- Maintain 5S housekeeping across related work areas
- Accept training and carry out additional operational activities as required
- Follow safe working practices and comply with EHS measures and regulations
Key requirements
- 3+ years' experience
- Rolling stock maintenance and train maintenance
- Industrial work instructions, vehicle maintenance instructions and technical instructions
- Quality systems and EHS compliance
- Fault finding and reading schematic diagrams
- Work checklists and work orders
- 5S housekeeping, MMIS/SES and IT basic knowledge
- Mechanical maintenance and electrical or electronic maintenance
- Technical Studies / Maintenance Engineering / Mechanical Engineering / Electrical Engineering / Electronic Engineering
