About the job

As a Technical Delivery Manager, you will be joining the software development team of Alpha Bank. You will be responsible for overseeing the successful delivery and operational readiness of a strategic digital platform.
Acting as the Bank's technical representative throughout the product lifecycle, you will serve as the primary point of contact between Alpha Bank and the platform vendor, ensuring that business objectives, technical requirements, regulatory obligations, and delivery commitments are translated into a secure, compliant, and high-quality production solution.
You will be responsible for coordinating sprint execution with the vendor, tracking milestones and deliverables, reviewing solution architecture, validating implementation quality, and governing the release process from development through production deployment. The role requires close collaboration with Product Vendor, Architecture, Security, Compliance, Risk, Operations, and Engineering teams to ensure successful delivery and long-term platform sustainability.


As the single point of technical accountability for the platform within the Bank, you will proactively identify risks, drive issue resolution, provide regular progress reporting to stakeholders, and ensure that all performance, security, compliance, and operational readiness requirements are met prior to go-live.

 

What you will be doing

 

•    Act as the Bank's technical representative throughout the product lifecycle.
•    Serve as the primary delivery and technical liaison between Alpha Bank and the platform vendor.
•    Coordinate sprint planning, execution, and delivery activities with the vendor's development teams.
•    Track project milestones, dependencies, risks, and delivery commitments to ensure successful execution.
•    Review solution architecture and technical designs to ensure alignment with the Bank's standards, integration requirements, and target architecture.
•    Validate the quality and completeness of all vendor deliverables before acceptance.
•    Own the release management process and ensure code progresses successfully through all quality gates and environments up to production deployment.
•    Coordinate testing activities, including integration testing, user acceptance testing, performance testing, and production readiness validation.
•    Provide regular delivery status updates and progress reporting to business and technology stakeholders.
•    Identify and escalate delivery, operational, technical, and regulatory risks, providing clear recommendations and mitigation actions.
•    Act as the single point of technical accountability for the platform within the Bank.
•    Own the go-live readiness process, ensuring performance, security, compliance, monitoring, support, and operational requirements are fully met before launch.
•    Collaborate closely with Architecture, Security, Infrastructure, Risk, Compliance, Legal, Operations, and Product teams.
•    Ensure that platform integrations and technical implementations comply with applicable regulatory and governance requirements.
•    Drive continuous improvement initiatives related to platform stability, delivery efficiency, customer experience, and operational effectiveness.
•    Monitor vendor performance against agreed milestones, service levels, and quality standards.

   

What you need to have

 

•    Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related discipline.
•    At least three (3) years of experience in Delivery Management, Technical Project Management, Product Delivery, Software Engineering, or a similar role.
•    Proven experience managing external software vendors and technology partners.
•    Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC), Agile delivery methodologies, and release management processes.
•    Ability to translate technical concepts into clear business language for non-technical audiences.
•    Ability to understand, review, and challenge technical architectures, APIs, integrations, and solution designs.
•    Experience overseeing software releases and production deployments.
•    Good understanding of application security, performance, operational readiness, and production support practices.
•    Experience working in banking, financial services, fintech, or other regulated environments will be considered a strong advantage.
•    Understanding of regulatory, compliance, and risk management requirements related to technology solutions.
•    Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving capabilities.
•    Excellent command of written and spoken English.
•    Experience delivering digital, banking, fintech, or marketplace platforms.
•    Familiarity with cloud-native architectures, APIs, microservices, and enterprise integration patterns.
•    Experience with DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and release governance processes.
•    Professional certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, PSPO, PSM, SAFe, or equivalent Agile certifications.
•    Experience working in large-scale enterprise technology environments.
