What you'll do
- Maintain and support Red Hat Enterprise Linux infrastructure
- Keep servers up to date with patches and assist with configuration changes
- Investigate, troubleshoot and debug infrastructure issues
- Support virtual and physical Red Hat installations
- Resolve complex or critical infrastructure incidents and malfunctions, retaining related documentation
- Implement IT best practices across hardware, software, security and storage
- Ensure IT assets comply with corporate standards and directives
- Build effective relationships with internal teams, engineers and field users
- Manage deployments and rollouts during and outside working hours
- Participate in on-call support outside normal business hours
- Communicate technical information clearly during troubleshooting and escalations
Key requirements
- 6+ years' experience
- Red Hat Enterprise Linux administration; System administration
- Linux troubleshooting and performance monitoring; Scripting and system automation
- Application server administration; Web server administration
- Red Hat Satellite administration; Infrastructure automation and configuration
- Containerization technologies; Virtualization technologies
- Elastic Stack administration; NoSQL databases and distributed messaging systems
- LAN/WAN networking; SecDevOps and CI/CD tools and pipelines
- Computer Science / Electrical Engineering / Any Fieldpreferred
