- Experience with data quality checks and data reconciliation

About the job
As a Data Aggregation Specialist, you will design, develop and operate robust data aggregation and transformation processes to support management and external reporting. The role involves leveraging advanced analytical tools and programming techniques to process large‑scale datasets, implement complex calculations and algorithmic logic and ensure the accuracy, consistency and timeliness of reported information
What you will be doing
Build and maintain the Bank’s data aggregation pipelines that feed regulatory and management reporting
Utilize programming skills (e.g. SQL, python) to automate manual tasks, transform granular datasets, optimize data flows and perform complex data analysis
Perform standardized and ad hoc data aggregation activities with the use of analytical tools (e.g. SPSS cloud pak for data), ensuring adherence to deadlines and high quality deliverables
Design and run quality checks on data, uncovering potential issues and collaborating with internal stakeholders to solve them quickly and efficiently
Perform periodic reconciliation checks to ensure alignment between data aggregation layers and accounting figures, working in collaboration with stakeholders
Maintain documentation, data dictionaries and technical specifications for data processes under responsibility
What you need to have
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics, Mathematics or other quantitative field of study
Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics, Mathematics or other quantitative field of study
At least three (3) years of relevant professional experience, ideally in a banking institution or an audit/consulting/FinTech firm
Strong hands-on experience in data management, programming languages (e.g. SQL, python) and database structures
Good knowledge of visual analytics suites (e.g. Power BI)
Proficient use of the MS Office suite (especially Excel and PowerPoint)
Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality results
Excellent command of the English language (both written and spoken)
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and present data effectively
Familiarity with Accounting, Finance and Risk Management concepts and terminology will be highly appreciated
