About the job
As a Letter of Credit Associate, you will be responsible for the implementation of all the activities and all supportive activities that are required for the issuance amendment, and forfeiture of the Letters of Credit.
What you will be doing
Manage the receipt of requests for the issuance, amendment, and forfeiture of Letters of Credit and checks their compliance with the Bank’s policies and legal framework.
Monitor the documentation required for the issuance, amendment, and forfeiture of the Letters of Credit are collected and all necessary clarifications are obtained.
Ensure that the Bank’s system is properly updated regarding the documentation required for the execution of the issuance, monitoring, and forfeiture of Letters of Credit.
Cooperate with the Bank's competent Business Areas in the event of forfeiture of Letters of Credit, and monitors that the appropriate actions are taken.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records concerning the timely collection of the outstanding commissions as approved in the terms of the Letters of Credit.
Support and assist Team members in various tasks related to the issuance, amendment, and forfeiture of Letters of Credit.
What you need to have
A Bachelor’s Degree in Economics, Finance, Business Administration or STEM
At least two (2) years of experience in financial services
