About the job
As a Financial Accountant, you are responsible for maintaining the chart of accounts of the Bank as well as for the accounting treatment of transactions of the Bank and related processes.
What you will be doing
Develop the Bank’s chart of accounts
Facilitate the process for determination of the accounting treatment of transactions, products, and services of the Bank and related processes to ensure appropriate accounting recognition of each financial event
Participate in the process of developing new products and services
Assist competent business areas of the Bank as well as Network Branches by providing instructions for the appropriate use of the chart of accounts as well as with the implementation of the accounting treatment of products and services
Assist in the design and monitoring of exceptional large-scale transactions (i.e., securitizations, sales & other transfers of loans, specialized lending and loan-to-equity convertibility)
What you need to have
A Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Accounting or other related fields
A Master’s degree in related field or MBA will be considered a plus
At least five (5) years of experience working in Accounting or Consulting related services with emphasis in IFRS
