About the job
As a Customers Periodic Reviews Officer, you will be responsible for participating in customers’ periodic reviews while providing guidance and support to all key stakeholders involved in the review process.
What you will be doing
- Conduct periodic evaluations of the Bank’s customers for Money Laundering (ML) and Terrorist Financing (TF) risk, considering the size and nature of their business relationship, as well as their transactional and financial profile.
- Ensure timely and effective communication with Business Units, providing guidance and support to relevant officers throughout the periodic review process.
- Verify the completeness and accuracy of customer data and documentation required for periodic reviews, collaborating with Branches and Business Units to address discrepancies and unresolved issues.
- Prepare documented proposals for the termination of business relationships with customers, submitting recommendations to the relevant Committee.
- Oversee and ensure the implementation of business relationship terminations for customers as decided by the Committee.
- Escalate concerns by submitting Suspicious Transaction Reports (STRs) to the relevant functional area when necessary.
What you need to have
- Bachelor’s degree in Law, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- A minimum of one (1) to three (3) years of experience in Compliance Control, AML, GDPR, or Legal matters.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with various stakeholders.
- Experience in data collection and analysis, ensuring accuracy and completeness of information.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with the ability to assess complex issues and provide solutions.
- Attention to detail and ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines.
