What you'll do

Key requirements
- 3+ years' experience
- Knowledge of factoring services, financial analysis, and credit assessment
- Skills in business development, client acquisition, and stakeholder management
- Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Ability in market analysis and proposal preparation
- Critical thinking to identify opportunities and propose solutions
- Fluency in Greek and English
- Finance / Economics / Business Administrationpreferred

ABC Factors S.A., a subsidiary of Alpha Bank Group, is seeking a Business Development Associate to join its Commercial team.
As a Business Development Associate, you will support the growth of the client portfolio by identifying and approaching prospective customers, preparing tailored collaboration proposals, and promoting factoring services across business segments. Your role is key to expanding the company’s market presence and contributing to sustainable revenue growth.
What you will be doing
Support the execution of the Division’s action plan and contribute to the achievement of assigned annual business targets
Collaborate with Alpha Bank’s network (e.g., Business Centers, Small Business Banking) to identify and approach potential clients
Research alternative lead sources through market analysis, networking, and monitoring of key industry players
Visit prospective clients to assess transactional cycles, understand specific needs, and gather data for preparing a proposal
Present the company’s services and their value proposition to potential clients
Coordinate internally with relevant departments to design suitable cooperation frameworks
Negotiate proposal terms with prospective clients and prepare documentation for approval by the Credit Committee
Monitor all approval stages and provide any additional required information
Communicate the approved terms to the client and facilitate onboarding processes
Track market trends and competitive activity to identify new business opportunities
Participate in promotional events, conferences, and exhibitions to represent the company and promote its services
What you need to have
A Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or Business Administration
A Master’s degree in Finance, Business, or related fields (preferred)
At least three (3) years of experience in factoring, business development, or client acquisition
Solid knowledge of factoring services, financial analysis, and credit assessment
Strong stakeholder and client relationship management skills
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities
Critical thinking and the ability to identify opportunities and propose effective solutions
Fluency in both Greek and English (oral and written)
Results-oriented mindset with a proactive approach to achieving business goals
